In local football, Crowborough Athletic are facing Peacehaven and Telscombe
It's for the second week in a row, and face them this time away in the league, while AFC Uckfield Town continue their hunt for a first win in eight, as they welcome Newhaven. Jarvis Brook are still unbeaten in the SCFL Division Two, currently sitting top of the league, and will look to carry this on at home against a Rottingdean Village side with one win in five.
In the Mid Sussex Leagues Rotherfield host an unbeaten Reigate Priory, while Barcombe continue the hunt for their first win of the season at home to Crawley AFC. Fletching will welcome Buxted with both sides currently towards the bottom of the Division 2 South, as Plumpton Athletic will face AFC Varndeanians 3rd’s at home, while Newick visit AFC Hurst.
Also the Brian Hall Trophy gets underway, as Maresfield Village host Barcombe 2nd’s, and Hartfield play at home to Hurstpierpoint 3rd’s.
In Rugby, and it's set to be a big test for our three sides in action this weekend, with Heathfield & Waldron away to an inform Ashford, while Crowborough face top of the league Dartfordians. Uckfield in the Sussex divisions are away to Pulborough, who themselves sit second in their division after a perfect start two games in.
There’s one bowls club in action this weekend, with Wealden hosting a friendly with their indoor versus their outdoor teams on Saturday, before facing Angel (Tonbridge) at home on Sunday.
