Emergency services are currently attending a major incident at Hastings station this evening, Tuesday, 14 April 2026. Police, ambulance, and fire services were called to the scene outside the station and East Sussex College shortly after 5:00 pm.

- Service Disruption: Stagecoach South East confirmed that buses are unable to serve the station due to the high volume of emergency vehicles.
- Agencies Involved: Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are all on-site.

Planned engineering works were already scheduled to begin later tonight, with replacement buses running between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings from 11:40 pm.
