A man who “didn’t feel drunk” – but still managed to crash his car into a barrier – is among the first seven people to be convicted of drink or drug-driving this Christmas.

Police are appealing for information following a report that a man in his 30s was raped in Lewes on the night of Wednesday, 24 December.
