The number of new officers was more than 100 for the first time in force history.
The new officers were sworn in on Wednesday 5 April and beat the previous record intake of 94 earlier this year.
79 of the new recruits are training to be police constables, with 28 as detective constables.
In attendance at the attestation ceremony were Sussex Police Chief Constable Jo Shiner, Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne, High Sheriff of East Sussex Mr Richard Bickersteth, High Sheriff of West Sussex Mr Andy Bliss and Justice of the peace Nigel Peacock.
Katy Bourne said: “It is always a privilege to attend the attestation ceremony of new officers to Sussex Police and this event is particularly notable for welcoming the largest ever cohort of 107.
“Those who have been sworn in today will be expected to serve the public without fear or favour and uphold the finest traditions of British policing. It is reassuring for Sussex residents that so many individuals have.”
