At their Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt, Dawson Hart Solicitors raised over £2100 for the Children with Cancer Fund. As told by their Head of Fundraising, Laura Manton.
On Good Friday, Uckfield Rugby Club was hopping with excitement for our Easter Egg Hunt! The event, held to raise money for the Children with Cancer Fund, was a resounding success, filled with exciting activities, happy faces, and a generous community spirit. The highlights for many were undoubtedly meeting the Easter Bunny and our "Crack the Code" Easter egg trail. Young detectives followed a series of clues, with their efforts being rewarded by a delicious treat. Meanwhile, the Happy Faces Face Painting station saw a vibrant explosion of creativity as children were transformed into everything from Easter Bunnies to Tigers. The excitement continued at the tombola tables, where lucky participants walked away with some great prizes
Of course, no Easter celebration is complete without games! Our selection kept everyone entertained, with a cuddly toy and a children’s tombola, a lucky carrot dip game and guess the name of our giant cuddly dog whose name was Hershey. Congratulations to the lucky winners! Parents weren't left out either. The aroma of delicious BBQ food kept everyone fuelled, while a selection of coffee and cakes provided the perfect pick-me-up as they watched their little ones have a blast.

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers and to everyone at the Uckfield Rugby Club who made this event possible. Their dedication and hard work ensured everything ran smoothly. The true measure of success, however, lies in the amount raised for the Children with Cancer Fund. Thanks to the ticket sales, donations, and the community spirit we were able to raise £2125. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this special event. The smiles on the children's faces and the incredible amount raised for charity made the Dawson Hart Charity Easter Egg Hunt a resounding success!
