The Sussex Sharks fell to a third defeat on a bounce yesterday in the T20 Blast, losing to Glamorgan by 32 runs, as they prepare for their next match tomorrow away to Essex, as they look to avenge their defeat to the same opposition last week.
And in the local leagues, Crowborough beat Westfield by an emphatic seven wicket margin, as Uckfield Anderida fell to a 123 run defeat to Bells Yew Green’s 2nd XI.
Buxted Park narrowly beat Hastings & St Leonards Priory by 14 runs to move themselves into third, Isfield beat Hastings & St Leonards Priory’s 2nd XI by seven wickets, and Plumpton & East Chiltington lost by four wickets to top of the table St Matthias.
Fletching earnt their first win of the season beating Heathfield Park by five wickets, as Barcombe lost to East Dean & Friston CC by two wickets, while Newick claimed a dominant win against Pett, winning by nine wickets.
Elsewhere, Nutley lost to Hailsham’s third XI by 96 runs, Rotherfield fell to a seven wicket defeat to Tunbridge Wells Borderers, Blackboys beat Polegate & Stone Cross 2nd XI by 110 runs, and Hadlow Down won by 100 runs against St James's Montefiore’s 4th XI.
