Isfield beat Brighton Dome Mission by 78 runs, as Plumpton and East Chiltington fell to a heavy eight wicket loss to Henfield.
And in the Division 5 East, Newick lost by four wickets to an inform Chiddingly, Fletching earned an impressive 52 run victory against Herstmonceux, only their second loss of the season, as Pevensey conceded against Barcombe.
Rotherfield managed arguably the win of the weekend, as they beat previously top of the league Lewes St Michaels by a massive eight wicket margin to move themselves into first, as Nutley fell by nine wickets to Robertsbridge’s 2nd XI.
Finally for the cricket, Blackboys beat Wadhurst by 57 runs, as Hadlow Down’s winning start to the season ended, as they lost to top of the league Brighton Malayalee Association’s 2nd XI by just eight runs.
And there is plenty of action today at the Eastbourne International, with the likes of current British women’s number one Katie Boulter, and Sussex native Julian Cash amongst those competing.
