Crowborough Athletic kept up their good run of form in the Southern Combination League

They had a one-nil victory at AFC Varndeanians.

AFC Uckfield Town’s scheduled home clash with Saltdean was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.  Uckfield are due back at the Oaks tomorrow evening for the visit of Steyning also in the Southern Combination League, Jarvis Brook lost for only the second time this season, as they were beaten two-one at Bosham.

In the Mid Sussex League, Rotherfield lost two-one at Reigate Priory.  Nutley crashed to a six-nil defeat at Lectern Lights.  Fletching won three-two at Barcombe, while Newick lost two-nil at home to Burgess Hill Rhinos and Hartfield were three-one winners at East Grinstead’s third team, in a cup game, Ridgewood lost two-one at Crawley Devils.

In the Isthmian Premier Division, Lewes maintained their push for the play-offs with a two-one victory over Potters Bar

In women’s football, congratulations go to AFC Uckfield Town ladies, who secured their league title with a crushing nine-nil win over Pevensey and Westham yesterday.

Lewes’s ladies team had a good three-two win at Sheffield United.  And Brighton and Hove Albion’s ladies drew two-all at Reading.
