Fletching won three-two at Barcombe, while Newick lost two-nil at home to Burgess Hill Rhinos and Hartfield were three-one winners at East Grinstead’s third team, in a cup game, Ridgewood lost two-one at Crawley Devils.

In women’s football, congratulations go to AFC Uckfield Town ladies, who secured their league title with a crushing nine-nil win over Pevensey and Westham yesterday.
Lewes’s ladies team had a good three-two win at Sheffield United. And Brighton and Hove Albion’s ladies drew two-all at Reading.
