Weekend Sporting Preview

In local cricket, Crowborough’s first team are without a fixture this weekend.

Uckfield Anderida are back in action, as they host Linden Park’s third team. 

Play at the Victoria Ground begins at one o’clock.

Elsewhere in the Sussex Cricket League, Buxted Park are at home to Ifield, while  Newick entertain Bells Yew Green.  There’s a top-of-the-table clash, as Isfield visit Lewes Priory.  Rotherfield host Heathfield Park’s second team.  And Nutley look to continue their unbeaten run with a trip to Sidley.

Meanwhile, there are away games this week for Barcombe, Plumpton and East Chiltington, Fletching and Blackboys

It’s a busy weekend of T20 Blast action for the Sussex Sharks.  This evening, they take on group leaders Middlesex at the County Ground Hove.  Then, tomorrow evening, the Sharks travel to Southampton to face Hampshire.

And in local bowls, Uckfield Bowls hosts its annual Fred King Open Triples tournament on Sunday, featuring clubs from across the county.
