Weekend Sporting Preview

In the weekend’s local cricket, Uckfield Anderida will be looking for their first win of the season, as they visit Tunbridge Wells Borderers.

Crowborough have also lost both their opening two matches – tomorrow they host Mayfield’s third team.

Elsewhere in the Sussex Cricket League, Buxted Park will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins, as they entertain Seaford.

Isfield are away at Pett, while Newick visit Bexhill’s second team.  And there are home fixtures this week for Barcombe, Fletching and Rotherfield.

Sussex’s county team begin a four-day match this morning against the New Zealand touring team at the County Ground Hove.

Among the weekend’s local bowls action, Uckfield host local rivals Crowborough Wolfe on Sunday afternoon.

And lastly in football, it’s the final game of the Premier League season for Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon, as they strive for a top ten finish – the Seagulls take on West Ham at the Amex Stadium.
