In local football, Lewes are gearing up for their FA Trophy clash

They are at home to Berkshire based Bracknell Town who sit 13th in their own division.

Meanwhile, Crowborough Athletic will be looking to continue their rise back up the table away to eighth placed Roffey, as AFC Uckfield Town welcome their leagues bottom placed side in Montpellier Villa, while Jarvis Brook play at home against Upper Beeding.

In the Mid Sussex Leagues, Ridgewood are in the Montgomery Cup away to Hollands Sports, as are Rotherfield, who host Crawley AFC, while Barcombe travel to face Cuckfield Town in the league.

Elsewhere, Buxted are away to Hurstpierpoint 2nd’s in the Sussex Junior Cup, while Nutley travel to play Southgate United in the Mid Sussex Junior Cup.

Lastly in league action, it's top versus bottom in the division, with Plumpton Athletic away to league leading Scaynes Hill, while Newick travel to face Ditchling, as Maresfield Village host Horsted Keynes 2nd’s, with Hartfield visiting Barcombe 2nd’s.

In women’s football on Sunday, Lewes are at home to Plymouth Argyle looking to recover from a mixed start to the season, with AFC Uckfield Town welcoming Burgess Hill in the Challenge Cup, who sit third in the division above.

Finally in rugby, second in the league Heathfield & Waldron are away to Ashford, while fifth placed Crowborough visit Sevenoaks 2nd’s.
