It's the season finale for local cricket this weekend
Crowborough are away to Bell Yew Green’s 2nd XI, as Uckfield Anderida in ninth host eighth placed Westfield. Buxted Park visit Chichester Priory Park, Isfield host Brighton Dome Mission, and Plumpton & East Chillington play at home to Henfield.
In the Division 5 East, Newick travel to face a Chiddingly team that is top of the league, but needs a win to secure their position, while Fletching host Herstmonceux.
Rotherfield have one last chance in their title hopes, as they play at home to Lewes St Michaels needing a win to close their current five point gap to first, but they will need a massive favour from Nutley, as they host the current league leaders in Robertsbridge. Blackboys will hope to end their season on a high, as they welcome Wadhurst, with the home team needing a win to guarantee third place.
Over to football, and the FA Vase starts up this weekend, with Crowborough Athletic away to Cobham, and AFC Uckfield Town hosting Staplehurst Monarchs. Jarvis Brook are at home to Ferring, while in the Mid Sussex Leagues, Rotherfield are away to Eastbourne United Association, and Ridgewood welcome West Hoathly.
In the bowls, Crowborough and Uckfield will face off in the Horam League tomorrow, with Crowborough then hosting Speldhurst, while Wealden host an indoor friendly against Grattons on Saturday, and Uckfield begin their Finals Day on Sunday, with the action set to carry over into Monday.
