Sussex Cricket came away with a draw against Derbyshire in the County Championship last night
They were aided by a career best 180 from youngster James Coles, which saw Sussex remain third in Division 2.
And in the local leagues, Crowborough and Uckfield Anderida will face off in the Division 8 East, as Buxted Park will host bottom of the league Brighton & Hove’s 2nd XI.
Elsewhere, Isfield travel away to Eastbourne’s 2nd XI, with Plumpton & East Chillington facing a tough test, visiting top of the league St James's Montefiore’ 2nd XI, who have won seven games on the bounce.
In the Division 5 East, Fletching travel away to Ringmer, as Newick and Barcombe face off, with Barcombe looking to continue their push for the title.
Another team with title aspirations is top of the table Rotherfield, as they travel away to a Bexhill’s 3rd XI that are winless in nine, as Nutley visit Alfriston.
Lastly, Blackboys are away to Burwash Weald, and Hadlow Down will look to continue their climb back up the table, as they host second placed Poynings 2nd XI.
In the bowls, Crowborough are the only team in action on Saturday, as they host the Australian Pairs Competition, before travelling away to face Buxted Park on Sunday, with Wealden facing Gullivers, and Uckfield hosting Woodingdean.
Finally, in our football fixtures this Saturday, Crowborough have their first home fixture of the season, as they host Deal Town, Jarvis Brook travel away to Oxted FC and Ridgewood FC are away to Ringmer.
