In the Mid Sussex League, Rotherfield are at home to AFC Ringmer. Nutley host Portslade Athletic, while Newick entertain neighbours Fletching and Barcombe welcome Eastbourne Rangers Reserves. Uckfield United visit league leaders Horsted Keynes, and Hartfield host East Grinstead’s third team.
Elsewhere, Ridgewood have a cup match at home to West Hoathly. And there are away fixtures this week for Maresfield, Plumpton and Buxted.
After their excellent victory at Enfield last week, Lewes return are back at home tomorrow with a visit from mid-table Margate in the Isthmian Premier Division.
Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Brighton and Hove Albion face the toughest of tests tomorrow afternoon, when they visit champions Manchester City.
In women’s football, Lewes’s ladies continue their search for their first win of the season on Sunday, when they host Charlton. Also on Sunday, Brighton’s ladies take on Chelsea at Crawley Town FC’s ground.
Finally, in local rugby, after their fine win at Haywards Heath last week, Uckfield make the trip to Crawley tomorrow. Crowborough are also on the road – they go to Bromley.
