Meanwhile, Lewes’ Ladies team begin their campaign in the Women’s Championship on Sunday afternoon, when they visit Birmingham. In the cricket, Uckfield Anderida are away at Mayfield’s third team, while Crowborough host league leaders Little Common Ramblers second eleven. Meanwhile, table-toppers Buxted Park continue their promotion challenge with a visit to Bexhill. There are home fixtures this week for Isfield, Barcombe, Fletching, Nutley and Blackboys. Sussex’s county team continue their push to reach the knockout phase of the Royal London One-Day Cup, when they visit Somerset tomorrow. In rugby union, Uckfield have a friendly at home to Hastings and Bexhill tomorrow. Kick-off at Hempstead Fields is at 2pm.
