Crowborough came out on top in their local derby clash with Uckfield Anderida at the Victoria Ground.
Replying to Uckfield’s 197 for nine, Crowborough reached their target for the loss of only four wickets.
Buxted Park had a good eight-wicket victory in a high-scoring match against Crawley Eagles. Newick also won by eight wickets against Herstmonceux.
Isfield made it four consecutive wins with a four-wicket victory at Bells Yew Green. Plumpton and East Chiltington defeated Crawley Down by 40 runs, while Fletching had a 52-run win at Lindfield’s second team.
There were also big wins for Barcombe, who beat St Andrews Burgess Hill by 213 runs, and for Blackboys, who scored a massive 333 for two in their 224-run victory at Crowborough’s second team.
And there were defeats for Rotherfield and Nutley.
The Sussex Sharks ended their T20 Blast campaign last night with a five-wicket defeat by south coast rivals Hampshire at the County Ground Hove.
In local football on Saturday, Crowborough were beaten one-nil at Bearsted in their opening pre-season friendly.
