There was an exciting victory for Uckfield Anderida, who beat Linden Park’s third team by one wicket at the Victoria Ground, reaching their target of 161 with one ball to spare.
There was also a close finish at Buxted Park, where the home side lost to Ifield by eight runs.
Newick recorded another good win, as they defeated Bells Yew Green by eight wickets. But, Isfield lost their unbeaten record, going down by 66 runs at league leaders Lewes Priory.
Elsewhere, Fletching beat Poynings by 126 runs, while Rotherfield had a seven-wicket win over Heathfield Park’s second team.
There were defeats for Barcombe, Plumpton and East Chiltington, and Nutley.
It was disappointment for the Sussex Sharks in their latest T20 Blast match on Saturday night, as they went down to south coast rivals Hampshire by 22 runs.
