THERE is something very special happening in Ashdown Forest on Saturday from 11am until 3pm.
It's the third year that A Winter’s Day on Ashdown is taking place at the Ashdown Forest Centre in Colemans Hatch Road, Wych Cross, RH18 %JP.
Attractions include:
Festive Stalls
Children's Crafts
Scots Pine tree sales
Mince pies, spiced Apple Punch and hot chocolate
Demonstrations by the East Grinstead Spinners and Ashdown Wood Turners
and festive dog-friendly activities (with prize).
You will also be able to view a photography exhibition 'Ashdown Forest and Beyond' by David Brooker.
Niamh Mahoney, Visitor Experience and Volunteer Development Manager at Ashdown Forest, said: "This is always a wonderful day for all the family and the perfect way to start everyone's Christmas celebrations.
"Parking will be free at the Centre and Broadstone car parks, and we do recommend you bring some cash for the stalls. All proceeds will contribute to the conservation of the Forest.
"Well-behaved dogs on short leads are most welcome, and we really would be thrilled to see as many people turn up as possible.
"It's a very relaxed atmosphere, and a festive one too. Come along and join us for what we hope will be a very special day."
