Plans have been submitted to build a new Starbucks drive-through at Polegate Services on Hailsham Road in East Sussex.

If approved by the Wealden District Council, the development is expected to create up to 20 new jobs.

Location: The store is planned for a vacant plot of land near the Cophall Roundabout. The site currently serves as parking for car boot sales but is otherwise unused.
Access: Plans include a new access road from Hailsham Way, featuring a dedicated pedestrian walkway to ensure safe access for those not arriving by car.
Facilities: The development aims to provide a family-friendly meeting space for the local community to socialise.
