Crowborough Community First Responders are trying to locate one of It's Public Access Defibrillators (identical to the one pictures)
The team had an alert that it was removed from its cabinet at Jarvis Brook Memorial Hall at 2:10pm today
Whilst they are hopeful that the defibrillator has been of help in a time of need, this expensive piece of lifesaving equipment has not been returned.
These units are funded by the charity through public donations, and each unit costs around £1,000 to install and have available.
They understand that the unit not being returned may be a simple oversight due to more worrying matters, but it is important that it is located and back in service again in case of another need for it to be deployed.
It is procedure under these circumstances that it is reported the unit as stolen with the Police and all relevant national databases, albeit they appreciate this is unlikely the case.
The unit carries their contact details on the underneath as well as invisible forensic security markings.
