On Wednesday 10 September, Lewes District Council hosted its second annual Climate and Nature Partnership Event, bringing together towns, parishes, and community groups.
From tackling food security and sustainable travel to protecting rivers, greenspaces, and local energy, the day was full of inspiring ideas and collaboration.
Speakers included Lewes District Council, East Sussex County Council, OVCA, Lewes District Food Partnership, and local groups like Greenhavens, Railway Land Wildlife Trust, Love Our Ouse, GetBikery, OVESCO, Trees for Seaford and more.
The event wrapped up with networking, shared learning—and cake from Seahaven Community Food.
