Free Family Learning Days at Raystede this Easter

Easter is coming so why not enjoy some code-cracking fun at Raystede

You can learn about animals at the same time?

Raystede, near Ringmer in East Sussex, rescues, rehomes and provides sanctuary to over 1,000 animals every year.  The charity also helps people learn about animal welfare and how they can care for the pets they have at home.

During the Easter holidays, on Wednesday 6 and 13 April and Thursday 7 and 14 April, families can follow a trail and take on an exciting code cracking challenge.  It’s a chance to get out as a family, enjoy the fresh air, explore the beautiful surroundings at Raystede and learn all about animals whilst collecting the numbers that will provide the secret code. Plus there’s a film to watch and craft activities in the yurt. Raystede’s friendly Education Team and volunteers will be dotted around the trail to answer any questions and to help everyone complete the challenge. And of course there are prizes at the end!

There’s a special discount in Raystede’s café for much-needed refreshments afterwards, plus a shop and free parking.  All proceeds go towards caring for the animals at Raystede and donations are much appreciated.

Entry is free but spaces are limited, all visitors must book a ticket for a time slot but can stay as long as they like until the site closes at 4pm.  Book today at www.raystede.org and have a code-cracking time this Easter while supporting your local animal welfare charity.
