It was down to a burst water main in Framfield

A burst water main in Framfield has caused travel disruption in Uckfied this morning

Water was flowing like a river from Framfield into Uckfield along the Framfield Road and gathered to make hazardous driving conditions around the turning that takes vehicles to the Community Hospital

Gary King from the East Sussex Today programme kept residents updated on social media and on the radio, engineers were in the area of the Community Hospital at 08:45 this morning working on the problem
