Visitors will have the chance to explore the world of mini beasts and the joys of spring at The Beachy Head Story this Easter.
The exhibition and visitor centre in Beachy Head Road is hosting a range of egg-citing activities from Saturday 1 April – Sunday 16 April during the Easter holidays.
Visitors of all ages will be able to use microscopes to marvel at mini beasts, examine the wonders of nature and discover how the chalk under our feet was created.
There is also an opportunity to put scientific skills to the test in the exhibition trail and have a go at the free craft activities throughout the school holidays.
On 3 and 10 April there is the opportunity to invent a mini beast from 10am – 12pm and there are two workshops on Wednesday 5 April between 2pm-3pm and Thursday 13 April from 11am-12pm when younger visitors will be able to paint their own flowerpot and plant butterfly friendly spring flowers in the Spring Flower Pot Painting and Planting workshops, and on 16 April ‘The Downs Beneath Your Feet’ workshop includes fossil craft making and a story session.
Sessions cost £2.50. For further information and to book, visit www.heritageeastbourne.com.
