A 35-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested today (Friday, 6 March 2026), on suspicion of a terrorism offence

Operation: The action was led by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE), with support from Sussex Police.
Current Status: As of Friday afternoon, the suspect remains in police custody, and officers are conducting a search of a property in Eastbourne.
