Crowborough mixed-use property up for auction as an investment

A mixed use property at the heart of Crowborough is coming up for auction as an investment in December.

The Old Bank, Beacon Road is among 163 lots listed in the latest auction being held by one of the top five property auctioneers in the UK, Clive Emson Auctioneers.

It is listed with a freehold guide price of £280,000 to £300,000 and is set to go under the auctioneer’s gavel at the firm’s auction which ends on Thursday 11 December.

The fully-occupied property currently let at £27,960 per annum, includes a ground floor commercial unit, currently let to a firm of solicitors, and a two-bedroom flat occupying the upper parts.

Auction Appraiser Jade Flood said: “Both units are to be offered with tenants in situ, providing an attractive investment opportunity with an immediate rental income.

“We are anticipating strong interest from investors seeking to add a mixed-use property to their portfolios.”

Beacon Road is an established area with a variety of local shops, cafes and amenities. The town centre and mainline railway station are also within easy reach, providing convenient access to the capital and the South Coast.
