The valuable local birthing centre has been shut since 4th December 2023
Crowborough's hugely popular and valuable local birthing centre, based in Southview Close in the town remains closed at the present time.
The centre normally provides 24 hour anti-natal, intrapartum and post natal care to women across Kent and East Sussex.
At the present time, Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust have not made a public announcement as to why the centre is closed, leaving many pregnant women in limbo.
