A number of festive events were arranged at the charity's home in Mid Sussex to bring a smile to the faces of everyone involved
These included:
- Polar Express sensory experience
- '12 Days of Christmas' Makaton-style
- Puppet performance by 'Christmas For Kids'
- Santa’s Visit to St Martin’s department
- Christmas plays
- Sensory Nativity adventure
- Peter Pan Pantomime
- Festive dancing staged by 'Singing Hands'
- Wreath making
Headteacher Simon Yates said: "We planned a series of festive events which our pupils absolutely loved.
"You could see from the many smiling faces that everyone had a great rewarding time.
"The Polar Express sensory experience was a particular highlight where the conductor came round to stamp their tickets and they were off on the train to the North Pole.
"The pupils enjoyed hot chocolate and refreshments on the train as well as feeling the cold, crisp snow and experiencing the Northern Lights.
"Finally, they arrived and gathered around the Christmas Tree to listen to Christmas music.
"This really brought Christmas to life for everyone."
