Ashdown Forest Health Walk celebrates 10th anniversary

As part of the East Sussex Health Walks series, the Ashdown Forest group is the biggest in Sussex.

The health walks are led by trained volunteers and they meet every week for a 1 hour walk.

Pre-covid, there were generally around 50 walkers, currently the number is around 30 so there is space for more people to join.

Lorna Neville, TCV East Sussex Walks Co-ordinator, said: "That's a lot of weekly walks over a period of 10 years so congratulations to everyone involved.

"Being part of an organised weekly walk is a great way to maintain your motivation and keep up a regular walking habit.

"All of our health walks are here to help you get outside and active week after week. They are all completely free and there is no need to book. Just pop along shortly before the start time."

The group meet every Wednesday morning at a different location, full details are available here.
