A man has been arrested after it was reported that members of the public had been exposed to on the Cuckoo Trail in Polegate.
Three incidents were reported between 6.30am and 8am on Tuesday, March 10.
Officers attended the area, and soon identified an 18-year-old man from Polegate, who was arrested on suspicion of exposure.
He has been conditionally bailed while further enquiries are conducted and any relevant CCTV is secured.
Chief Inspector Kara Tombling, said, "We recognise that this incident will have caused concern within the community.
"Officers were immediately deployed to the trail, where a man was promptly arrested, and an investigation remains ongoing.
"A visible police presence will continue in the area, and we encourage anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious behaviour on the Cuckoo Trail to speak with us.
"Keeping our community safe remains our priority."
