More Information (Ashdown Radio is not responsible for external websites)

Catherine Greenwood is a local contemporary artist specialising in printmaking inspired by walking and drawing. Join her to capture this unusual bird on paper, exploring the camouflage textures of tree bark with hand made dip pens and oak gall ink. All art equipment will be provided. At the end of the workshop you will have created unique artworks to take home with you.

Tea/ Coffee and snacks will be provided on arrival, please wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing for all weathers.

The workshop will involve some walking along the trails of Ashdown Forest which are uneven, and steep in places so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

We hope to encounter and record nightjars and woodcock in the natural heathland habitat after our printmaking session in which we will use monoprint inks and collage to get familiar with camouflage patterns of feathers and tree bark.

Your car parking fee is covered in your booking.

No dogs – Sorry, this workshop is not suitable for our canine friends.
