Big Model Village event – 24-27 April
There will be a giant model of the village and surrounding areas, created in the Garden Room at the Community Centre, Forest Row. Local school, nurseries, community groups and shop owners are helping to create some of the buildings and you could get involved too!
The model is a fun way to share what you want and how you might be able help to make things happen, for the future of Forest Row. Here’s how you can get involved:
• Make your house, some trees or flowers, part of the Forest Way, even the river!
• Tell the parish council, district council and county council what you want for the village by putting flags onto the model and adding your new ideas for the village into ideas boxes.
• See some potential new projects for the village and vote for the ones you like.
• If you’re part of a local project, service or community initiative, add the details to let other people know what you do, where and which times, and ask for more volunteers to join you.
• See a huge old map of Forest Row from the 1800s.
• Enjoy tea and cake and chat with other local people.
Everyone who is part of Forest Row community and surrounding areas, is welcome. From age 1-105!! All are welcome. The event is put on by Forest Row Parish Council for almost no cost, with most materials and time being donated by Councillors and community groups. It’s a free event - just turn up and have fun!
Please tell friends, family, neighbours and everyone you know. If you can help spread the word by delivering flyers to other houses in your street or to other people at your shop, business or community group, please message me and I’ll drop you some flyers. We genuinely want to get everyone involved in the community – everyone’s voice counts!

Thursday 25 April, drop in between 12 - 2pm or 3:30 - 8pm
Friday 26 April, drop in between 12 - 2pm or 3:30 - 8pm
Saturday 27 April drop in between 10am - 4pm
